These sensors are compatible with the HI 510 general purpose process controller. Available with 3 types of glass, including high and low temperature formulations. Choice of standard ceramic compound or chemically resistant PTFE compound. Digital sensor transmits data via RS485 connection that is immune to electrical interference associated with standard analog sensors.

The HI1000 series of digital pH probes represents the continuous evolution of technology. The HI1000 series performs all measurements within the sensor and then transfers the data digitally to a process meter with a digital sensor input.
The use of digital sensors allows a process meter to be updated by measuring a different parameter without changing controllers. This technology allows an installation with many control points to only need to maintain one version of a driver program. The other advantage is that digital measurement data transmission is immune to electrical noise generated by motors, pumps and wet environments. The digital signal can be transmitted over very long distances. This cannot be done with a standard analog probe unless it is amplified or a transmitter is used. HI1000 digital sensors are available with cable lengths up to 50 meters. All Hanna industrial digital pH electrodes are of the combined type, meaning half the reference element and half the measuring element are assembled in the same body. All probes are manufactured with a chemically resistant PVDF body and feature a PT100 temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation.
