The HI-97104 photometer’s internal reference system compensates for any drift due to power fluctuations or ambient temperature changes. With a fixed light source, measurements are fast and consistent between blank (zero) measurement and sample measurement.
High-efficiency light source: LED light sources offer superior performance compared to tungsten lamps. LEDs have a much higher luminous efficacy, providing more light while consuming less power. They also produce little heat, which could otherwise affect electronic stability.
High-quality filters:
Improved optical filters ensure greater wavelength accuracy and allow for a brighter, stronger signal. The end result is higher measurement stability and less wavelength error.
Greater Light Output:
A focusing lens collects all the light coming out of the cell, eliminating errors from imperfections and scratches that may be present in the glass. The use of the convex lens reduces the need for cell indexing.
CAL Check Function:
Hanna’s exclusive CAL Check function allows for performance verification and meter calibration using NIST traceable standards. Standard CAL Check vials have been developed to simulate a specific absorbance value at each wavelength to verify the accuracy of subsequent measurements.
