The polyhedra of the cells have 20-30% open walls so that the air that carries the acoustic wave can penetrate. At the same time, they are 70-80% closed with elastic membranes so that they absorb the energy of the air molecules, resulting in sound absorption. Their surface is coated with a thin polyurethane film, highly resistant to ultraviolet radiation and aging, antibacterial and sound-permeable.
